UNOFFICIAL GUIDE
IRON NEST High Tide Walkthrough
This unofficial IRON NEST High Tide walkthrough explains the moving-target work the mission actually asks of you: read each fresh landing-craft report, project the contact forward, subtract shell flight time, and keep the Defensive Line alive until relief. It separates current build evidence from player-reported tactics, so you can use the method without mistaking one recorded operation for a universal firing solution.
How to beat IRON NEST High Tide
To beat High Tide, keep the Defensive Line alive until relief arrives, about 18 minutes after the operation begins. Read each landing-craft report, calculate a fresh moving-target intercept, and shift fire toward whichever contact is putting the line under the most pressure.
Treat every reported grid and timestamp as an input for the current operation.
Use the report's course and speed to estimate where the craft will be at your chosen impact time.
Stop treating total destruction as the objective once relief arrives and the game authorises stand-down.
First contact is expected about three minutes after the start. The mission then tells you to hold for roughly another 15 minutes. Those relative timings are more useful than a particular clock display because they describe the current mission graph without pretending that one screen timestamp is permanent across builds.
How to read the evidence labels
The labels separate current build evidence from tactics that were only reported by other players.

OFFICIAL
A developer or official-platform statement directly supports the claim; no High Tide-specific patch statement is used in this draft.
IN-GAME TEXT
The statement comes from mission text, graph timing or entity fields extracted from build 24750322.
OBSERVED
A visible action or result was checked in footage; this review did not perform frame-by-frame footage verification, so no gameplay claim uses this label.
REPORTED
A fan walkthrough, player video transcript or community report supplied a tactic or question, not a confirmed game rule.
This page was reviewed on August 25, 2026 against Version 1.0 build 24750322. Third-party material was accessed on August 23 and is kept at reported status; the guide does not claim that its author reproduced the mission in play.

Landing Craft record
The Landing Craft record describes one entity type and its current fields. It does not establish the total number of craft, enemies or waves used by the mission.
Evidence: IN-GAME TEXT — Campaign order, mission localisation, timer relationships, graph branches and entity fields extracted from build 24750322.
Official mission description: Prevent enemy landing forces from reaching the Defensive Line until reinforcements arrive; survive until relief and thin the advance before it reaches the line.
IRON NEST High Tide walkthrough
High Tide is a queue-management problem built around moving targets. Work from the newest information, keep each contact separate, and judge success by the state of the Defensive Line rather than by an imagined requirement to clear the sea.
1. Prepare for first contact
Start with the relative timeline. The build places first contact about three minutes after the operation begins and relief about 18 minutes after the start. Use those minutes to organise the map, make room for more than one contact, and decide how you will label solutions so an old report is not mistaken for a new one.
The opening intelligence leaves target priority to the operator. That means there is no build-backed numbered order to memorise. Your first useful trigger is the arrival of a Landing Craft report containing a current grid and timestamp.
Do not pre-enter a coordinate from another guide or run. A copied grid may look precise while referring to a different contact, a different report time or an entirely different operation state.
Success signal: A fresh Landing Craft report is on screen and you can identify its reported grid, report time, course and speed.
2. Calculate and manage each intercept
Read the report as a moving-target statement. In the reviewed build, the craft is described as steaming on course 180° at 19.4 knots. The same report gives movement conversions: 0.10 km in 10 seconds, 1.00 km in 1 minute 40 seconds, and 3.00 km in 5 minutes. It also gives a beach projection 5 km south after 500 seconds.
Choose a future impact time, project the craft from the report's current grid to its expected position at that time, and solve the shot to that projected point. Then subtract the shell's flight time from the intended impact time to get the actual time to fire. The future target position and the fire time are different answers; merging them is a common source of late rounds.
When a new report arrives, label it before calculating. A fan walkthrough reports that keeping one active solution per gun can reduce mix-ups when several contacts overlap. That is a Version 1.0 player workflow, not a mission rule or a guarantee. Use it only if it makes your own queue easier to audit.
Success signal: You receive a rounds-on-target, destroyed or landed update and revise the contact's status instead of continuing to fire an expired solution.
3. Protect the line until relief
A craft that reaches shore can disembark Enemy Marine units. The mission graph then moves those units toward the Defensive Line and reports when they engage it. A landed craft is therefore not harmless, but its landing also does not create a documented one-miss automatic failure.
Reassess pressure whenever a contact lands or another report appears. You may choose to continue an important sea intercept, switch to troops threatening the line, or queue the next craft. The build deliberately leaves priority to you, so the right choice depends on the current state rather than a fixed target number.
Relief and the primary-objective-complete message are the finish condition. Once the game permits stand-down, continued fire against remaining elements is optional. Do not spend the end of the run chasing a full clear that the objective does not require.
Success signal: Relief reaches the beachhead, the primary objective completes, and High Command permits stand-down.
Targets and ammo
The current Landing Craft record has armour 0. AP can still hit a craft, but the data does not make AP mandatory, and the reviewed player sources disagree about preferred ammunition. Do not build the entire run around a claim that every Landing Craft needs AP.
If a wider-impact shell helps you cope with timing pressure, treat that as a player-reported option. One auto-transcribed Version 1.0 player video favours larger-error-tolerance shells under pressure, but this review did not compare AP, HE, cluster and high-impact ammunition under controlled conditions. None is presented here as the uniquely correct or guaranteed choice.
Use the mission state to choose the next target. A craft still at sea may be worth intercepting before it lands; Enemy Marine units already engaging the Defensive Line may demand immediate attention. The in-game intelligence assigns target priority to you, so a useful queue is one you can keep current, not one copied from a numbered list.
For attributes and terminology beyond this mission, consult the complete shell-types reference. That reference owns the cross-mission shell catalogue; this page only explains the High Tide decision boundary.
High Tide stuck points
The mission has not ended after several hits
Check the clock and the Defensive Line state. High Tide completes when relief arrives and the line has survived, not when a particular hit count has been reached. The reviewed graph does not provide a player-facing fixed target total that this guide can safely publish.
A Landing Craft reached shore
Update the contact rather than treating the run as automatically lost. The craft can disembark Enemy Marine units, and those units can move toward and engage the Defensive Line. Shift priority according to the current pressure, then continue working toward relief.
Several reports are getting mixed together
Give each report a short working label that includes its current grid and report time. Keep its projected point and expected impact time together, and retire that solution after a destroyed or landed update. The one-active-solution-per-gun approach is a reported organisational tactic, not a required control scheme.
A round missed the projected contact
Re-read the report time, recompute how far the craft travels before impact, and confirm that you subtracted shell flight time. Do not compensate by reusing a fixed lead from another range or charge. This audit did not establish a universal lead formula.
The Defensive Line collapses before relief
Reduce the number of stale solutions you are carrying and prioritise the contacts creating current pressure. The graph confirms failure when the line collapses before reinforcements arrive, but it does not expose a reliable player-facing tolerance for a fixed number of craft or troops.
Record the report state. Write down the current grid and report time for that specific contact.
Choose an intended impact time. Give yourself enough time to calculate and operate the gun without pretending that one lead works for every shot.
Project the target. Apply the report's course and speed over the time between the report and your intended impact. In build 24750322, the report describes southbound movement at 19.4 knots and supplies its own distance conversions.
Solve to the projected point. Calculate the firing solution from your current gun to that future position using the operation's actual geometry and ammunition.
Back out shell flight time. Subtract flight time from the intended impact time. The result is when to fire, not another target coordinate.
Retire or update the solution. A destroyed, landed or newer contact report changes the queue; do not keep firing stale numbers.
This method is reusable because it tells you which current inputs to read. The numerical firing solution is not reusable: grid, range, bearing, charge, elevation and lead all depend on the operation and the shot. No fixed shortcut is approved by this evidence review.
The report's 500-second beach projection is a useful cross-check, not a replacement for the steps above. It describes where that reported contact will be relative to its current grid if it continues on the stated course; it does not supply your gun's flight time or final firing settings.
High Tide medal boundary
This guide does not publish a High Tide-specific medal list or threshold. The extracted medal data has no reliable mission field that connects individual medals to High Tide, while the reviewed third-party list contains a duplicate and cannot establish the binding on its own.
Use the medals by mission index for the site's maintained medal coverage. Until a reliable High Tide connection key or in-game mission panel is registered and reviewed, any task-specific names or thresholds remain unconfirmed here.
Version notes
The current fact baseline is Version 1.0 build 24750322, mapped to Version 1.0 (1622) and Patch #5 on the public branch dated August 15, 2026. The extraction was reviewed for this page on August 25. The relative +3-minute first-contact and +18-minute relief windows come from this build's timer relationships.
Third-party material was accessed on August 23. A fan walkthrough, a third-party mission database, one auto-transcribed player video and an indexed Discord question sample help identify tactics and common questions, but they do not replace the build for mission mechanics. A second selected video had no usable transcript and contributes no claim.
This page does not publish a Patch #1 High Tide fix history. The current graph contains newspaper and record-related events, but that only establishes the present build state; it does not prove what an earlier patch changed. The global difference between Demo and Version 1.0 mission-graph counts is also not a High Tide change log.
High Tide FAQ
How do I beat High Tide in IRON NEST?
Keep the Defensive Line alive until relief arrives, about 18 minutes after the operation begins. Read every fresh Landing Craft report, compute a new moving-target intercept, and manage the current pressure instead of trying to clear every contact. IN-GAME TEXT — build 24750322.
When do the Landing Craft and relief arrive?
First contact is expected about three minutes after the start, and relief about 18 minutes after the start. Those relative times come from build 24750322; a particular clock display should not be treated as permanent across versions. IN-GAME TEXT.
Do I need AP for Landing Craft in High Tide?
No. The current Landing Craft record has armour 0, so AP is not a mission requirement. The reviewed player tactics disagree about preferred shells, and this page does not name one guaranteed best choice. IN-GAME TEXT + REPORTED — Version 1.0 boundary.
How do I calculate a High Tide Landing Craft intercept?
Project the contact from the grid and time in its current report to your intended impact time, solve to that future point, then subtract shell flight time to find when to fire. Recalculate with the current operation's inputs; there is no approved fixed coordinate or universal lead. IN-GAME TEXT + REPORTED workflow.
Which High Tide target should I shoot first?
Use the current pressure to decide. The mission leaves target priority to the operator, so no build-backed numbered order exists; a craft nearing shore and troops already engaging the line are competing risks you must reassess. IN-GAME TEXT.
Does one missed craft or an incomplete clear fail High Tide?
No single missed shot is documented as an automatic failure, and the mission does not require a full clear after relief. Failure is tied to the Defensive Line collapsing before reinforcements arrive; the exact tolerance is not established. IN-GAME TEXT — build 24750322.
Which medals belong to High Tide?
This guide cannot verify a High Tide-specific medal list or threshold from the current extracted data. The medal register lacks a reliable mission connection key, so task-specific claims stay unconfirmed and the maintained medal index owns that coverage. IN-GAME TEXT + REPORTED evidence boundary.
